Fourth of July

On Friday, Kim and I went with the Haynes and the Ostertags to a park to celebrate the Fourth of July. Matt grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and we had chips, potato salad, baked beans, sweet tea, and peach cobbler. We spent the morning and afternoon playing wiffleball and kickball and throwing baseball and football. I really enjoyed our game of wiffleball...I forgot how much I love playing ball since it was a part of my life for so many years. I think we probably got plenty of stares for being loud Americans and playing games they have never seen before, but we had a great time! Make sure to notice all the grass in the pictures below. Rainy season is here and everything is green!!

Mom and Dad, does that bring back years of memories?

For some reason Blogger keeps turning this picture sideways, but I think you can tell there is nothing mexican about those plates of food.
We had some people sitting and watching our game of wiffleball so we invited them to play with us and then they stayed to eat with us.
