I am really enjoying this semester. I feel like it has been my best semester yet. There seems to be more interest in my conversation clubs, and I am averaging about 15 students each time we meet on the two campuses I am working on. There are some students in my conversation club on the administration campus that I really love hanging out with and I have been able to do several things outside of school with them.

Some of my students playing a game in conversation club. The girl on the left, Karla, is also in my salsa class and she is quickly becoming one of my good friends here.

Last week was my friend Jorge's birthday and he was having everyone from the CEB over to his house for lunch. When I told him I already had plans to go eat with people from my conversation club he told me to invite them too even though he had never met them. Some of them went with me and we had a great time!

Laura enjoying her chicken and mole. Mole is a Mexican sauce that is made with a lot of ingredients, including chiles, chocolate, and a lot of different spices. Chocolate and chiles sound really weird together, but there are some types of mole that are actually pretty good.
Eli and Allan entertained us with some songs.

These are some of my students who are at the conversation club almost every time we meet: Eli, Allan, me, Alzaga, Laura, and Misael.

I'm not really sure why Misael started showing us his talent of sticking his fist in his mouth, but the next thing I knew my friend Laura was sticking her fist in his mouth too.

I can't even express how much I love spending time with my friend Laura. She is really extroverted and when the two of us get together we have so much fun! Some of the people in my conversation club have started calling us twins because we get along so well and seem to have a lot in common.
