Baby Shower

This past Wednesday I went to a baby shower with my friend Karla. I didn't know the person it was for, but there was a connection since it was the sister of Karla's sister-in-law, so here in Mexico it's perfectly acceptable that I would go. The family hosting the baby shower live in a neighborhood here called Bugambilias which is known for being the part of the city where all the wealthy people live. Their house was nicer than many houses in the United States and it was definitely the first time I had been in a house like that here in Mexico. The baby shower in and of itself was pretty much the same as one in the United States, but it was neat to be able to see a different side of Mexico.
