Last week there was a volunteer group here from my church back home. Ten students came and my college pastor. In the mornings we split up between 2 different campuses and we used games and surveys to interact with students and invite them to the student center at night. We had a lot of students come to the student center during the week where they heard testimonies and heard the gospel.

The group of students on the CUCEA campus were able to go to my conversation club and see what I do there each week.


Several students from my conversation club came to the events we had at the CEB including Eli, Karla, Laura, and Oscar.


Tuesday night we had a talent night at the CEB but not serious talents. We came up with some funny things to do just to have fun with the students who came from the campuses. In the picture above Chris and Eric are dancing to Shakira.

I don't know if any of y'all remember The Evolution of Dance routine that Kim and I did with some other women back in February, but there was an encore presentation last Tuesday night.

My favorite part of Tuesday night was when Misael shared his testimony. Several people were there from my conversation club, which Misael is also a part of, so I was excited for them to get to hear his whole story of how Christ has changed his life.

Friday night we had a luau at the CEB.

Finally after watching the guys and girls dance who didn't know what they were doing we had Laura, Karla, and Ana show us how to actually dance.

Karla has quickly become my best friend here and I am so thankful for her friendship.
