Laura in Guadalajara: Finally....

I have been a slacker when it comes to blog posting lately. I like to use my blog to post pictures but it seems there hasn't been much to take pictures of lately. Things have been pretty routine this month, leading my conversation clubs and doing things outside of class with students in order to build relationships with them. University classes are winding down and students will be beginning finals in a couple of weeks. The students have been so busy with school and work that it has been hard lately finding times when they can do things with me outside of class. Pray that during the last couple weeks of school God would give me opportunities to deepen relationships with students and share the truth with them. On Saturday another volunteer team from First Baptist Church of Powell with be here to work with university students for a week. My friend Briana arrived this past Saturday to spend a week with me before working with the team. It has been great getting to spend some time with her!

Briana, Kim, and I at a goodbye party for Jim and Peggy, some other missionaries here in Guadalajara. They have been here for 4 years and have finished their term. They just returned home to Missouri this week.
