September has been a fun month! Here are some things that have happened the past few weeks:

On September 4th, I invited some people over to Kim and I's house for lunch. Eleven students from the campus showed up and we had a great time! The best part though, was when three of them stayed two hours longer than the rest of the group. The conversation ended up turning to spiritual things and Kim and I were able to share the gospel with them and how Christ has changed our lives. Pray for Jeannete, Chadi, and Isaul (the 3 in the picture above), that God would continue to reveal His truth to them.

On September 13th we had a Mexican Night at the CEB. It is an annual event that the CEB has to celebrate Independence Day, which is September 16th here in Mexico. This is some of us performing a skit.

We had a great turnout...about 60 students came.

The weekend of September 15 and 16 I traveled to Morelia for a meeting with all of the directors of MIES (Ministerio Estudiantil) here in Mexico. Amy is going home in November so this might have been the last time that we were all together.

The group from Guadalajara that went to the meeting: Marco, Ceci, Jorge, me, Manuel, and Chuy

There always has to be a "toxico" photo: Ramiro from Monterrey, Manuel from Oaxaca, me, Manuel, Jorge, Nolan from Queretaro, Edith and Don (my supervisors who live in Puebla), and Josh from Monterrey

We all went downtown in Morelia for the "grito." It is a tradition here for Independence Day to go to the centro where everyone shouts "Viva Mexico!"

Manuel had been doing mission work in a small village during the summer so the first time I had seen him since May was at our meeting in Morelia. I am so glad he is back!

After our meeting in Morelia, Ramiro, Josh, and Nolan came back to Guadalajara with us for a day just so they could see the city. After seeing downtown, they came over to Kim and I's place with a few others who were visiting Guadalajara and we had a cookout.

This sign is painted on a wall outside of a house in Kim and I's neighborhood. We still don't know why it is there, but it is funny and made for a great picture with all the guys acting like they are begging for forgiveness.

Last night some of us from the CEB went to our friend Eli's wedding.
