A few more days....
Back in August a few days before I came here I remember not being able to believe that it was finally time to come. Now I can't believe that it is finally time to leave this place and the people that I have grown so close to. We have our commissioning service on Wednesday and then I will be home sometime Thursday afternoon.
I went back to D.C. today to pick up my visa. I was amazed at how perfect my morning went. I got into D.C. at 10:00 and found a parking spot right near the Mexican embassy. I walked right up to the counter, was handed my visa, and walked out...all in about 5 minutes. I was out of D.C. by 10:45. I was praying that everything would work out smoothly, but to be in and out of D.C. in 45 minutes was more than I expected! Now in 16 days I will be living in Mexico as a legal resident.

When you follow the road God has planned for you, everything goes so smoothly. Isn't God awesome! Wish I was able to be there for your commissioning service but it just wasn't going to work with William. Can't wait to see you on Thursday! We will be praying for you during these last few days and for your travel.
Love,
Kim
